| This mother and child from Peru have a very special bond. Felo is 7 years old and is suffering from a rare condition called Arnold Chiari Malformation, aside from syringomyelia and severe scoliosis. Through a series of surgeries and treatments, Felo's condition has improved significantly since he arrived in the US, in December 2009. Thanks to the Ronald McDonald House, Felo and his mom have a place to stay while he is getting treatment. He enjoys learning English and playing all kinds of sports. Thanks to his magnificent sense of humor and constant pranks, our families and staff are always entertained whenever Felo is around! |
