A Small Gesture. A Meaningful Moment.

“Hospitality a la Carte” brings comfort directly to pediatric patients and families receiving treatment at Holtz Children’s Hospital, the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center.

Once a month the Ronald McDonald House of South Florida volunteers take a cheerful hospitality cart through pediatric units, offering coffee, pastries, cookies, drinks, care kits, and other comforting items to families spending long days by their child’s side.

For many parents, a cup of coffee, a snack, or a kind smile can offer a much-needed moment of relief during a difficult hospital stay.

Through Hospitality a la Carte, the Ronald McDonald House of South Florida is able to extend care beyond the House and support even more families during their child’s medical journey.

Powered by Volunteers

Hospitality a la Carte is made possible by caring volunteers who give their time, energy, and kindness to support families in the hospital. Volunteers help create a warm and welcoming experience by preparing items, organizing the cart, and personally sharing comfort with families.
