It was during an ultrasound that the doctor told me that my baby would be born with Spina Bifida. Holtz Children’s Hospital referred me to Ronald McDonald House of Miami and all I knew was that they would provide us with a place to stay.

Even though I was hurt and shocked, I did not worry as I knew that God always has a plan. Once I had the baby, staff and volunteers at the House gave me a card and balloons,  that was a special memory for me.  Staying at Ronald McDonald House helped me to have access to my baby Jordyn at all times. My family was able to visit us and we appreciated the food that was donated.  The staff was a big help in assisting me work out all the details needed to stay and they also shared a lot of my sad and happy moments.  I thank you everyone involved in making this house possible.
