17 Oct The Red Shoe Society’s “Wine & Fries” Event Raises Over $60,000
October 17, 2025 — The Red Shoe Society’s First Annual Wine & Fries event was a tremendous success, raising over $60,000 to support the operations of the Ronald McDonald House of South Florida! We are deeply grateful for your support in making this inaugural event a reality.
On Friday, October 10, 2025, we transformed the beautiful La Jolla Ballroom in Coral Gables into a night of playful elegance. Hosted by the Red Shoe Society, RMHC South Florida’s vibrant, women-led group of philanthropic leaders, the event introduced a unique, one-of-a-kind culinary experience.
Guests enjoyed a truly unforgettable evening that successfully paired elegant, high-quality wines with everyone’s favorite classic: McDonald’s world-famous French fries.
Every sip, every bite, and every laugh shared helped advance our mission. The funds raised will directly support RMHC South Florida’s essential services, ensuring we can continue to provide comfort, care, and a crucial “home-away-from-home” for families with critically ill children receiving medical care at local hospitals.
