July 10, 2025 — WSVN 7News’ 7Spotlight featured our Meals from the Heart program, which serves up comfort and food for families staying at the House. The article spotlighted Lafayne Robinson and her eight-year-old daughter Zane, who is receiving treatment for Leukemia at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
The story emphasized how RMHC South Florida provides families free lodging and essential peace of mind, reducing the stress of finding daily hot meals. RMHC South Florida’s Executive Director, Soraya Rivera-Moya, shared that the program allows volunteers to see the direct result of their efforts, time, and talent, providing much-needed love and nourishment to families facing tough times.
