2026 Honorees Take the Runway at the 33rd Annual 12 Good Men Luncheon

May 1, 2026 — On Friday, May 1, Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida hosted its 33rd Annual 12 Good Men Luncheon. The signature event, uniquely celebrating men’s contributions to philanthropy in the region, brought together 440 supporters to honor a new cohort of men committed to civic duty and “The House That Love Built.”

The luncheon, covered by WPLG Local 10, raised $430K, with proceeds supporting the charity’s daily operations and providing families with lodging, meals, and community care. To date, the event has recognized nearly 400 exemplary men and raised nearly $3 million for the home away from home, which always operates at full capacity.

The highlight of the event was the legendary “Honoree Catwalk.” WPLG Local 10 News Anchor Calvin Hughes, returning for his ninth year as Master of Ceremonies, introduced each of the 12 honorees as they took the runway to strut, dance, and be celebrated. All honorees wore a special lapel and were presented with a floral tribute, symbolizing the gratitude of the more than 30,000 families RMHC South Florida has served since 1982.
